Jeremy F. Unterborn is an attorney focusing on intellectual property law, with an emphasis on patent prosecution in the mechanical and electromechanical arts.

Mr. Unterborn prepares and prosecutes patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and advises clients on patentability and portfolio development.

In addition to his patent practice, Mr. Unterborn counsels clients on trademark matters, including portfolio strategy and the preparation and prosecution of trademark applications.

Mr. Unterborn’s technical experience includes mechanical systems and components such as bearings, pulley systems, rotary devices, diagnostic sensors, wheel hub assemblies, sealing systems, braking mechanisms, lubrication systems, and household appliances.

Mr. Unterborn earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Washington & Lee University.

He is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland, before the Federal District Court for the District of Maryland, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
