Litigation

GTV represents clients in all aspects of intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and unfair competition. While most intellectual property litigation ends in a settlement before going to trial, our lawyers have the technical and legal expertise to handle the case either way. We litigate each case with the client’s specific business objectives in mind, and have been before federal courts across the United States.

Our lawyers also litigate International Trade Commission Section 337 disputes and investigations and are familiar with the ITC’s unique procedural rules. For example, our lawyers recently employed the ITC’s seldom-used temporary exclusion order process to effectuate a favorable settlement.

We also offer ancillary services such as litigation monitoring where clients are informed of newly filed lawsuits and developments that may impact their business.

Also, through our Chicago office, GTV provides a full scope of commercial representation for our clients, which includes disputes related to contracts, fraud, unfair competition, employment, securities, breaches of warranty, licensing and products liability.
